During the Visual Arts Residency, students have the opportunity to develop important life skills while working with professional artists in the classroom. They can also enjoy the satisfaction of sharing their completed projects with their classmates, community, and peers around the globe.

Students’ final artwork is typically shared with their classmates at the end of the residency and is also posted on the Make a Connection Thru Art website. As part of a culminating event, students’ written work and visual art will be shared with young people and adults from across their community.
